Professor
Min Jang has received his Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. For more than 10 years, he has conducted a variety of researches related to water treatment at Korea Mine Reclamation Corporation (MIRECO) in the Republic of Korea, as well as at Pennsylvania State University and University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Senior Research Fellow. His previous projects involve environmental nanotechnologies, geochemistry, and process water treatments. He has published over 100 peer reviewed articles on the arsenic and heavy metals remediation, mine reclamation, and advanced oxidation process (AOP). From 2012 to 2016, he served as a Professor of Civil Engineering at University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Now working as a professor at Kwangwoon University, He dedicates his studies to developing economical nano-structured adsorbents and catalysts, for treating organic and inorganic toxic pollutants.
